6.5 X 68 RWS

This European cartridge goes by several names. It has been called 6.5 x 68 Schuler, 6.5 x 68 Vom Hoffe Express and of 6.5 x 68 RWS. There is absolutely no difference between any of them!

The following data was developed in a Steyer-Mannlicher Model S rifle. It has a 25.5-inch barrel. The rifle has had about 500 rounds through it already when we started this test. We installed a Weaver 4-16X scope in an EAW mounts on it.

RWS brass and Federal 215 primers were used throughout our tests. All groups are 3 shots at 100 yards. All bullets were molly coated.
